Job description:

Role NCO IS Support / Training

Responsible for planning and providing CIS training for members of 1GNC staff and subordinate units on IKM tolls and informations systems, processes and procedures.

Assist in supporting and sustaining current CIS infrastructure of 1GNC Peacetime Locations (PTL) ICCW staff branches, subordinate units, external national and international agencies and contractors.

Advice 1GNC Staff ICCW DOS on measures to control and improve the technical information flow within 1GNC including user support and training on applications.

Support Change, Incident and Problem Management Process within 1GNC PTL.

All tasks related to the job to be executed from 1GNC, Münster, Germany. Candidate should be willing to work in Münster the whole week.

NATO clearances are applicable.

Language of instruction is English.

1GNC is a multi-national Headquarter environment where military and civilians work close together (that is exempt from VAT). It contains mainly out of German and Dutch personal. Languages within the HQ (Headquarter) is mandatory English, preferable is also German and/or Dutch. Because of this, the CV has to be delivered in English

Tasks:

Conduct training needs analysis

• Design programs to meet needs
• Produce and/or update existing training materials (content and methodology)
• Adapt third-party training materials to support individual competency development in accordance with the organization’s needs
• Provide effective training in the classroom, online, or informally
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on training effectiveness
• Evaluate and report on student performance
• Promote ongoing professional development

Requirements, which must be met 100%:

• Proven experience in IT-architecture
• Experience in adult education
• Experience with and courses completed for TT+ Functional Administrator
• Certificate in ITIL Foundation
• Experience with and courses completed for ITSM Tool Training (for example Service Now)
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with and courses completed for MS SharePoint Functional Administrator
• English at level 3332
• Strong communication and pedagogical skills.

Additions:

• Knowledge of strategic and tactical communication networks (esp. NLD, DEU and NATO) is preferred. Working experience in military divisional or corps environment is preferred
• Education in computer science or electronics is preferred
• NATO C4ISR Technology Orientation (ETOC Course ID: CCC-SM-22206) is preferred. NATO Networking Infrastructure (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-32237) is preferred. Digital Communication (JADL113) (ETOC Course ID: CCC-DC-22276) is preferred
• MS SharePoint Functional Administrator (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-32337) is preferred. TT+ Functional Administrator (ETOC Course ID: CCC-ET-42352) is preferred
• Proficiency in the German language is preferred
